Denver | Boulder | Frisco | Colorado

Break through what’s been holding you back.

When talk therapy alone hasn’t been enough, KAP can help you go deeper.
Ketamine-Assisted Psychotherapy combines the power of medicine with the support of therapy to help you safely access and process thoughts, emotions, and patterns that might otherwise feel out of reach. It’s not about escaping—it’s about opening a door to insight, healing, and real change.

Not just talk—transformation.

Therapy for the emotional hibernators, psychedelically curious and the seriously stuck.

Why keep trying more antidepressants that don’t seem to work, facing depression that won’t improve, or relying on talk therapy that hasn’t been enough?

Feeling trapped under a cloud you can’t shake…

Another day spent pushing through the pain…

Another morning of overwhelm before the day even starts…

The struggle is real.

Ketamine-Assisted Psychotherapy Modalities

  • Psychedelic-Assisted Psychotherapy | KAP | In-Person KAP | Denver | Colorado

    In-Person KAP

In-Person KAP is offered in our serene Denver, Boulder, and Frisco offices. Each journey begins by creating a sacred space—setting heartfelt intentions, engaging in grounding practices, and attuning to your body, mind, and spirit. Through guided mindfulness and embodied intention-setting, I invite you to deepen your connection with your inner wisdom. Gentle movement, breathwork, and reflective journaling help weave together your insights, creating lasting threads between your experience and daily life. Your dosing session, typically about three hours, unfolds with compassionate guidance, followed by an integration process to anchor your healing into the whole of who you are.

  • Psychedelic-Assisted Psychotherapy | KAP | Remote KAP | Denver | Colorado

    Remote KAP

Remote KAP offers the best of both worlds—the full presence and guidance of your therapist, combined with the comfort and familiarity of your own home. We’ll meet virtually for your entire dosing session (approximately 3 hours), with my support throughout each stage of the journey. Beforehand, we’ll engage in one or more preparation sessions to set intentions, cultivate grounding practices, and ensure you feel ready. During your dosing, a pre-arranged chaperone will be in your home to ensure safety, though they won’t need to actively observe you since I’ll be there remotely. Between dosing sessions, we’ll meet for integration therapy to help you anchor insights, embody shifts, and weave your healing into daily life.

  • Psychedelic-Assisted Psychotherapy | KAP | Self-Guided KAP | Denver | Colorado

    Self-Guided KAP

Remote Self-Guided KAP offers the opportunity to journey from the comfort of your own space, while still being held in a supportive therapeutic container. Before your dosing session, we’ll connect by phone, video, or text to set intentions, review safety considerations, and prepare your mind, body, and spirit for the experience. During the journey itself, you’ll be accompanied by a trusted, pre-arranged chaperone who will be fully present with you. Afterward, we’ll reconnect for integration—exploring insights, anchoring new perspectives, and weaving your experience into daily life. While deeply meaningful, this modality is best suited for those with prior KAP experience rather than first-time participants.

ADHD Therapist for Adults living in Colorado
  • Ketamine-Assisted Psychotherapy (KAP) is a holistic modality which combines talk therapy with ketamine as an adjunct, to help eligible patients experience profound breakthroughs and lasting improvement. It is especially effective for depression, anxiety, PTSD - particularly when other treatments haven’t been as effective. I take on the psychotherapy portion of the experience, while Journey Clinical’s medical team supports you on all medical aspects. This includes determining eligibility, developing a custom treatment plan, prescribing the medicine and monitoring outcomes. Here’s a link to more information about KAP to see if it may be a good fit for you. https://journey.click/education

  • Ketamine is a legal, safe, and effective medicine used to treat a variety of mental health conditions, including depression, anxiety, chronic pain and PTSD. It has rapid antidepressant and mood-enhancing effects, often noticeable within hours and can last for weeks. It works by targeting the neurotransmitter glutamate, which influences mood and thought patterns. It promotes neuroplasticity — the brain's ability to form new connections. Ketamine can be administered in a variety of ways, including IV infusion, intramuscular injection, nasal spray, and sublingual lozenges. Journey Clinical uses the sublingual lozenge form.

  • The effects of ketamine, which most patients find pleasant, last for approximately 45 minutes. These effects can make you feel “far from” your body, and facilitate shifts in perception that can often feel expansive in nature. Many people report having unique emotional or visual experiences that can give you a break from habitual thoughts and gain a new perspective on traumatic situations. Your motor and verbal abilities will be reduced, so you’ll be lying down in a comfortable position during the experience. Once these effects subside, I will spend the remainder of your appointment giving you space to process and discuss your experience. While it may feel hard to articulate what happens during the experience, patients feel like the insights gained are clear.

  • Initial consultation with Journey Clinical. You schedule an initial evaluation with a clinician from the Journey Clinical medical team via zoom. They will go over your medical and psychiatric history with you, provide education on the treatment and determine if you are eligible for KAP.

If Journey Clinical’s medical team determines that you are eligible for KAP, they will develop a personalized Ketamine prescription and outcome monitoring plan for you.

Journey Clinical’s medical team will write a ketamine prescription for you, and a small amount of oral ketamine will be sent to your home, enough for the first 2 KAP sessions. You will be taught to take your vitals and self-administer the ketamine lozenges by Journey Clinical’s medical team in advance of our KAP sessions.

Preparation sessions. Once you receive your ketamine lozenges, we will schedule time together for our KAP preparation, dosing and integration sessions. Preparation session(s) will be scheduled just like regular therapy sessions prior to the KAP dosing session. The goal of a preparation session(s) is to align on the process and set intentions for our KAP sessions together.

KAP Dosing Session. A typical ketamine dosing session lasts about 2.5 hours and can take place either in person or remotely via tele-health. During a dosing session, you will self-administer your ketamine lozenge in.  You will be in a comfortable, reclining position wearing an eye mask and listening to calming music. Although a KAP dosing session may be largely an internal experience, I will be present with you the entire time to hold space and provide support as needed.

Integration Sessions. After our KAP dosing session, we will meet for multiple integration therapy sessions to review the memories, thoughts & insights that arose during your dosing session, and to prepare for the next dosing session.

Follow-up consultations with Journey Clinical. After our first KAP session, Journey Clinical’s medical team schedules regular follow ups with you to monitor outcomes and prescribe ketamine lozenge refills, as appropriate.  The frequency of follow ups depends on your unique treatment plan, at a minimum of once per quarter.

We will have preparation therapy session(s) leading up to the dosing session, and integration therapy sessions between dosing sessions.
