Unlock Deeper Self-Discovery With KAP
-
Depression
Deep, integrative therapy that works on multiple levels—especially when nothing else has worked. It helps you break through the heaviness of treatment-resistant depression, access buried emotions, and find real relief. Think: more ease in your relationships, work, and inner world.
-
Anxiety
For the mind that just won’t quit—this deep, integrative therapy helps soothe anxiety at its roots. It quiets the constant worry, eases the tension in your body, and calms the storm inside. Especially helpful when talk therapy alone hasn’t cut it. More clarity, more calm, more room to breathe.
-
ADHD
ADHD isn’t just about focus—it’s about overwhelm, emotional intensity, and a brain wired for fast dopamine and deep sensitivity. KAP works with the brain’s reward system and Default Mode Network (DMN) to quiet mental noise, ease rejection sensitivity, and support more flexible, grounded thinking.
-
Chronic Pain
When pain takes over your body, it can take over your life. KAP works on both the physical and emotional layers of chronic pain—helping to rewire pain pathways, ease the brain’s threat response, and support nervous system regulation.
-
Global Reset
Ketamine-Assisted Psychotherapy offers more than just symptom relief—it’s like a global reset for your mind. By loosening rigid thought patterns and defenses, it opens space for deeper healing, emotional clarity, and lasting change.
Ketamine-Assisted Psychotherapy Modalities
-
In-Person KAP
In-Person KAP is conducted in the comfort of your own home. No commute, no parking, no waiting rooms. In-home KAP removes the logistical barriers so you can focus fully on the experience and the integration work that follows. Being in your own space can reduce anxiety, increase relaxation, and make it easier to go inward. You’re not adjusting to a new environment—you’re already grounded. Dosing sessions are approximately 2-3 hours. Available to patients living in the metro-Denver area.
-
Remote KAP
Remote KAP provides the best of both worlds. I will be present with your remotely to guide you through the entire process (approximately 2-3 hours) - and you can enjoy KAP from the comfort of your own home. We will still have preparation therapy session(s) leading up to the dosing session, and integration therapy sessions between dosing sessions. You will pre-arrange a chaperone to be present in your home - but who does not need to observe you during your journey - because I will be there!
-
Self-Guided KAP
Self-guided KAP is similar to remote KAP, but I will not be actively present during the dosing session. Instead, we will check in before AND after the session via text, phone or video. This modality is scheduled in advance, and still includes preparation before the appointment as well as integration work afterwards. You must have a pre-arranged chaperone who is fully present with you throughout your journey. A self-guided journey is not recommended for newbies.

Couples KAP
Couples KAP can be a powerful modality for healing in community. It can also be much more affordable for you. In this way, it is a popular modality and often a win-win. Couples KAP can be delivered in your home (if your’re in the Denver Metro Area) or remotely. Couples dosing occur together and preparation and integration sessions can occur together or separately. Access what talk therapy can’t reach.
What’s it worth to you?
Ok so yes, therapy does require an investment. Of time, money, effort, emotional investment…all of it.
AND the good thing? My goal is for you to be in and out of therapy ASAP.
I know you have other fish to fry, you have things going in life and are busy.
So I want you to get the relief as soon as possible, put some good therapy sh*t into action, and move on with life.
That being said, you will get out of it what you put into it. And if you show up, ready to do the work, to be guided, to open up, and heal…
You will get the transformation you are after.
And what’s THAT worth to you? What is a complete transformation of how these struggles have been running your life, worth?
Maybe a KAP session or two? Maybe a full KAP course of 6-8 sessions? Throw in a few 30 minute touch-up sessions?
And then you’re in it. You’re living a life where your struggles are just hanging out in the background, feeling soothed.
And you’re just crushin’ it at your best life.
And you’re wondering “Ummm where do I sign-up for this?!”

Why KAP might Be Just What You Need.
Imagine your brain as a ski slope. Over time, skiing the same trails creates deep grooves, like repetitive thought patterns. Ketamine-Assisted Psychotherapy (KAP) is a holistic modality which combines talk therapy with ketamine as an adjunct, to help eligible patients experience profound breakthroughs and lasting improvement. It is especially effective for depression, anxiety, PTSD - particularly when other treatments haven’t been as effective. I take on the psychotherapy portion of the experience, while Journey Clinical’s medical team supports you on all medical aspects. This includes determining eligibility, developing a custom treatment plan, prescribing the medicine and monitoring outcomes. Here’s a link to more information about KAP to see if it may be a good fit for you. https://journey.click/education

Ketamine is a legal, safe, and effective medicine used to treat a variety of mental health conditions, including depression, anxiety, chronic pain and PTSD. It has rapid antidepressant and mood-enhancing effects, often noticeable within hours and can last for weeks. It works by targeting the neurotransmitter glutamate, which influences mood and thought patterns. It promotes neuroplasticity — the brain's ability to form new connections. Ketamine can be administered in a variety of ways, including IV infusion, intramuscular injection, nasal spray, and sublingual lozenges. Journey Clinical uses the sublingual lozenge form.
-
The effects of ketamine, which most patients find pleasant, last for approximately 45 minutes. These effects can make you feel “far from” your body, and facilitate shifts in perception that can often feel expansive in nature. Many people report having unique emotional or visual experiences that can give you a break from habitual thoughts and gain a new perspective on traumatic situations. Your motor and verbal abilities will be reduced, so you’ll be lying down in a comfortable position during the experience. Once these effects subside, I will spend the remainder of your appointment giving you space to process and discuss your experience. While it may feel hard to articulate what happens during the experience, patients feel like the insights gained are clear.

Initial consultation with Journey Clinical. You schedule an initial evaluation with a clinician from the Journey Clinical medical team via zoom. They will go over your medical and psychiatric history with you, provide education on the treatment and determine if you are eligible for KAP.
If Journey Clinical’s medical team determines that you are eligible for KAP, they will develop a personalized Ketamine prescription and outcome monitoring plan for you.
Journey Clinical’s medical team will write a ketamine prescription for you, and a small amount of oral ketamine will be sent to your home, enough for the first 2 KAP sessions. You will be taught to take your vitals and self-administer the ketamine lozenges by Journey Clinical’s medical team in advance of our KAP sessions.
Preparation sessions. Once you receive your ketamine lozenges, we will schedule time together for our KAP preparation, dosing and integration sessions. Preparation session(s) will be scheduled just like regular therapy sessions prior to the KAP dosing session. The goal of a preparation session(s) is to align on the process and set intentions for our KAP sessions together.
KAP Dosing Session. A typical ketamine dosing session lasts about 2.5 hours and can take place either in person or remotely via tele-health. During a dosing session, you will self-administer your ketamine lozenge in. You will be in a comfortable, reclining position wearing an eye mask and listening to calming music. Although a KAP dosing session may be largely an internal experience, I will be present with you the entire time to hold space and provide support as needed.
Integration Sessions. After our KAP dosing session, we will meet for multiple integration therapy sessions to review the memories, thoughts & insights that arose during your dosing session, and to prepare for the next dosing session.
Follow-up consultations with Journey Clinical. After our first KAP session, Journey Clinical’s medical team schedules regular follow ups with you to monitor outcomes and prescribe ketamine lozenge refills, as appropriate. The frequency of follow ups depends on your unique treatment plan, at a minimum of once per quarter.
